Summer, Christmas and Board Demos!
What a cracker of a day; water temp 19 degrees and crystal blue! Make sure you go for a swim when you finish work, especially since the sunset is at 7:30pm, plenty of time for a dusk dip. Two weeks til the start of Summer and under 6 weeks til Christmas – in case you didn’t already know. The season for SUPing is upon us! Keep reading for some SUP board news and our Christmas specials.
Board Demo Day
We are super excited for the weekend, as we have our first board demo at our Social Paddle on Sunday. Our Social Paddles are 60 minutes and is a casual paddle for experienced paddlers who want to mingle! This Sunday we will also have a range of ECS boards that people can try out including boards for cruising, surfing and racing.
We would like to introduce you to one of the boards that will be available… meet the ECS Turbo featuring Terry McDermott.
The ECs Turbo is “designed to be stable to paddle, enter waves with ease, be a fast and highly maneuverable fun shape to ride.The board is based on McKee’s early 90s “turbo” comp surfboards which combined speed, projection off the bottom, controlled release and a feeling that the board indeed had a boosting ‘Turbo’ element.”
